Johnny graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) and also completed two other master degrees, which were Master of Clinical Physiotherapy (Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy major) at Curtin University and Master of Science in Medicine (Pain Management) at The University of Sydney. He is currently undertaking a PhD at the University of Sydney under the supervision of musculoskeletal specialist physiotherapists.
Throughout his study path, Johnny has been trained to provide comprehensive musculoskeletal pain assessment and management plans to chronic pain population. He has worked in multidisciplinary pain clinics as a senior pain physiotherapist to help patients reach their goals. He believes that empowerment, education and exercise are essential components to manage chronic pain.
