Dr Adam Ofri is a committed, empathetic and motivated Academic Surgeon. His focus is on caring for his patients and providing them the most up-to-date evidence-based care. The field of breast cancer is always changing, with ongoing research being published daily. It is only by being an Academic, that is being heavily involved in research, can a Surgeon keep up to speed with the newest data available.

Dr Ofri has always strived to be at the forefront of medical literature. He began undertaking research as a medical student, and as a junior doctor completed his Master of Surgery. Throughout his surgical training and Breast Surgical Fellowship he continued with his academia with multiple national and international publications and presentations, as well as completing his Master of Advanced Surgery (Breast Surgery).

Adam has been awarded the Breast Cancer Trials Clinical Research Fellowship for 2023 & 2024. This funded fellowship has facilitated more comprehensive research including developing an International Randomised Control Trial. For his efforts, he was awarded the prestigious John Collins Medal and Travel Grant in 2023 for his academic pursuits.

During this time, Dr Ofri continued to teach medical students as well as his colleagues. He is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Sydney and is the lecturer in the Breast Surgical Fellowship Program. Given his ongoing research, he is an editor for multiple International Journals and is on the Editorial Review Board for Cancer Control.
