Dr Katharine McGregor-Wood is a Consultant Physician and Geriatrician. She completed her medical training at the University of Bristol, UK and worked as a doctor in London before moving to Australia where she completed her physician and specialist geriatrics training at the Prince of Wales and St George Hospitals. She is currently employed by St George Hospital as a staff specialist and has admitting rights to Hurstville and St George Private Hospitals. She has undertaken research in delirium at The Prince of Wales Hospital and has been a conjoint lecturer affiliated with the University of New South Wales. She has private rooms in Suite 20 and special arrangements can be made for a home/ nursing home visit.

Dr Katharine McGregor-Wood is passionate about the holistic care of older people and advocates healthy aging and independent living in the community.  She focuses on the goals of the person and recognises the value in involving and supporting family members throughout the care of their loved ones.
