Dr Wood is a specialist in Anaesthesia and Pain Medicine, with accredited positions at The Sydney Children’s Hospital and The Prince of wales Private Hospital. He has private consulting rooms at Suite 20 and has recently become a member of The Eastern Suburbs Pain Clinic.

Dr Wood completed his medical degree at The University of Otago, New Zealand in 2002 and obtained his Postgraduate Diploma in Sports Medicine in 2004. He then travelled through India, Saudi Arabia and Africia before working in England and Scotland. He commenced anaesthesia training in New Zealand and completed his specialisation in Sydney.

Dr Crawford and Dr Khor have been mentors and have closely supervised Jordan’s training in pain medicine.

In 2010 Jordan travelled to Rwanda as a member of the Operation Open Heart team, where he performed anaesthesia and intensive care support. He continues to be involved in programs providing medical support to third world countries.

Dr Wood is a conjoint Associate Lecturer at The University of New South Wales. His research interests include paediatric pain and decision making in multidisciplinary care.

As a pain medicine specialist, Dr Wood aims to provide a comprehensive diagnosis and treatment plan with the involvement of a multidisciplinary team, including psychological, psychiatric and physiotherapy assessment and support if required.

When medically indicated, Dr Wood also performs procedural pain management interventions including neuromodulation. He is a registered no gap provider with all the major health funds for all pain management procedures.
